If the Royal Canin works well for him, stick with it. Why change? Sounds like a dream dog right now. Be sure to keep us updated with lots of pics.

Hes great looking. I seem to have the same problem as you,my Max is just over a year old and stays slim,hope he fills out ,he stills has a year to grow if not more.
