I'm with you, Adi. If all things were equal, then I would choose a sable over any other color.

Sables are just my preference and the darker the better. Why? I have no idea. I guess the same reason some prefer chocolate ice cream and others vanilla. This is my sable puppy at about 4 months old.

"My faves are the Bi-colors or blanket backs. I love a good black dog too but they are too few and far between I will probably never get my hands on a black I like. Sable is my least favorite color but even so, there are allot of sables I would throw in my kennel and keep. The darker the better. The washed out sables make me kinda, throw up a little in my mouth."

I actually agree with that, and that last part too, LOL.

I have a black pup, I hope he turns out great, so far I really like him.

I love the dark sables. My next dog will be that color. I'm just a pet owner, if a dog is going to be laying around
my house for 10 or so years, it might as well be the color I like. :)

Thanks guys. Her dad is my grandson I was bragging on who went BOB and Group 1 at UKC 2 weeks ago. By the way the mop is still intact, it's the flowerpot that didn't make it. She dug all the dirt out and had a great time scattering it all over the patio!!!!!!

I am partial to the darker sables, solid blacks and bi colors. We have several dark sables and
one dark red sable male and one dark black and tan. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE my black
and red guy. But I like the BLACK sables and bi colors the most. Although I wouldnt mind having
a solid black some day. Here is a head shot of the 2 Czech females we have.
