Sorry to say, the little pup passed away last night,

just mother nature taking over, she was tiny for a reason,

I am blessed with 4 very healthy chubby pups, they have already seem to have doubled in size.

My lab is expecting on Wednesday, she was bred with a nice CH yellow, everyone will be yellow, and it looks like
she's having alot, so maybe I will take a few of her pups & give them to Bonnie, Bonnie loves the lab & is always licking her face, the litters will be 1 week apart, I suspect maybe 12 pups from my lab, so she may welcome the help, last time I bred with the same stud she just had 3 pups, so I kept a very close eye on her starting her heat this time, plus we were attending obedience shows, we have our second leg towards a CD, after these kids we're getting that CD!

A couple of days ago my lab got stuck under a shed we have in the backyard, and my daughter had to climb under the shed & dig her out, she then got a nice bath in peppermint shampoo!

No more going out on that side of the yard

You are right nature takes over no matter how we try, I'm sorry. Mom seems to be producing enough food that the rest are very chubby:) Too funny about the shed birthing area :)))

Always,
Cee

Thanks Cee,

Here is Claire at day 57, she should have her pups tomorrow,
she wanted to run out the door last night and go to training, she's
a fun girl, with alot of spunk!
Last time she had pups with this stud, she just had 3, I think she's quite abit more this time!

Paula,
Sorry to hear about the little one not making it. Like you said, small for a reason. I feel your pain. Lost two chihuahua puppies myself over the weekend. They too, were smaller than normal :-(

On a happy note... The lab looks great and soooo ready to drop! I'm guessing...   8-)

Do you have the pedigree handing for the GSD litter?

Hi Paula,
Thanks for posting the pedogree. I can't wait to see the puppies. Even with a new handful of a pup myself I can't resist taking a look at everyone's new babies :-)

I'll be waiting on the lab count... They are very nice labs indeed. Hope mom is doing well

Thanks Stacy,

I thought she was having her pups yesterday, but she was just breathing heavy, she has begun to show more signs of labor today, it's 1:35 pm & I'm waiting to see some contractions, she's drinking water, and we keep taking walks out to the yard, nice 60 degree weather here today, I'll let you know when all's said & done,

The photos of your pups are gorgeous. I am so sorry to read about the little pup you lost. Good luck with your lab. She looks lovely. She looks like she is smiling in her 2nd photo.

Breathing heavy?!?!....Shame on her for getting us all excited LOL With a belly that big, I can see that she may have a little trouble breathing...and getting comfortable hehehe

We'll be waiting :-)
