Vickie -- you have encountered a REAL Nut Case !    I don't think you will have any Legal trouble with her....but do continue collecting information --  just in case.

I just read this. Sorry for that lady's rudeness, Vicky! Don't take it personally. She is a nutcase.
I dealt with her over a year ago when she called our house because she had traced a lost GSD's tattoo No. to our region and my husband was one of USA's regional tattooers at that time. I contacted Molly and she found the breeder for us. However, Julie turned out to be really nasty and harrassing. Molly might remember that as well.
Here was my thread I had started during that time. I am sorry to say that I had asked her to sign up here on the Pedigreedatabase when I thought that we were trying to reunite a lost dog with his owner. Im sorry that nutty people think they have the right to say such horrible things only to get your attention. What is wrong with people. Consider the source and dont let her get to you.
Our prayers are with your son when he goes. I have a friend over there now. Ill be glad when he returns and I know he is safe.

As the above mentioned "CRAZY TATTOO A PET OWNER", I believe you should know the REAL TRUE facts, not what is stated here.. Vicki Lanig,the writter of that post advertised in CraigsList she was a Shepherd rescue in Claremore OK. Linda Chapman, OF OK city had saved a white Shepherd mix from a animal control, which had it up for soon euthanazia. She adopted the dog,with the intention of findig it a good home, saving its life.SHe paid over $100.00 adoption fee at her expense, and careing. She saw Vickies ad on CRAIGSLIST, called Vicki, who assured her she would take the dog into her rescue, advertise, and select a good home for "Alma". The exchage was in Tulsa Linda bringing the dog to Vicki on 12/29/10. On Jan 16,11, Linda called Vicki and asked how "Alma" was doing and Vickie said fine, she was busy, and had not yet put up the posts for a home for Alma. On January 21,2011, TATOO-A-PET got a call from a couple in Claremore Ok,who stated they had found 2 g.Sherpherds on Jan 15,starved,dirty,in the cold and snow freezing and starving together hudled on their property. One of the dogs the female had a tattoo, which theycalled TATOO A PET asked us to trace,to find the owner. In addition, they had placed a craigslist ad in the lost&found with the dogs pictures and mention one had a tattoo, looking for the owner.TATOO-A-PET traced the tattoo to owner Linda Chapman, who was then called and asked if she had lost her dog.Flabergasted about the findings, she called Vicki and asked again,HOW IS 'ALMA". The reply was FINE, SHE IS SITTING AT MY FEET,and I am checking into some adopters.Linda called TATOO A PET told Vickis responce, which was then followed up; with a call,to Vicki from tatoo a pet, who she then hem and hawed made up some excuse they were at her mothers house.ALL LIES LIES LIES.She had abandoned these two dogs,if she was looking for them the Craigs list ad was visible. Then came more lies, she lost them they escaped, she looked all over non factual..Julie at TATOO-A-PET,then confronting her of her lies, advised that the Claremore Animal Control,is being notified and she would be charged with ABANDONMENT. She then called back Linda, and notified her, that she had troubles with Claremore before, they once before closed her up, and if they were going to check on her again, she would EUTHANIZE, the remaining dogs and puppies she had. WHO IS THE CRAZY ONE NOW....................... She then proceeded with a bunch of E.mails to Julie & Linda with terrible rants. all available for anyone interested to check. THIS WOMAN ABANDONED THESE POOR DOGS, "ALMA" OF WHICH LINDA TRUSTED HER AND LIED,BUT IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE TATTOO, "IT GAVE ALMA THE VOICE TO SPEAK AND TELL WHO SHE BELONGED TO. Claremore Animal Control has the who story related by Linda, confirmed by Tatoo a pet, the finders of the dogs, AND ABANDONMENT CHARGES WILL BE FILED. THEY KNOW VICKI AND THE FACTS ARE:. SHE ABANDONED THESE DOGS STARVING,IN THE FREEZING COLD AND SNOW LEFT TO DIE. She is despicable,a liar,and a fabricater of a bogus story not to ADMIT TO HER OWN GUILT IN THE FACE OF EVIDENCE.
