GSD justice!!
what is a akc bc cert??

the training that i do is not alot of money. im not paying 200 bucks every month for training!!
the female trainer that i have isn't alot of money, and she wants me to be a helper so we canwork something out there...

i am putting pictures of him, after this post!!!

tell me what you guys think!!

i know he's a cute pet, but i am willing to take time for this!!! i think he would be good for this!! with time and alot of work
i think he would be alright!! not worldclass but it's the bond and fun i want to him with him!!

here are the pictures please give me more input of breed type and weight please!!!

Well...what is his character like? Since you're not going to breed him, does it matter what kind of dog he looks like? If you want to train, then hopefully he has lots of drive and strong nerve and desire to please. OH hell, my GSD has no desire to please so I don't know why I said that. But anyhow, what is his personality like?

That dog looks like Walker hound and GSD to me. I wouldn't think a lab or a walker hound would be ideal for Schutzhund, but hey, my second Sch dog was a Catahoula. My first was a boxer. If they are go-getters, then why not?

well the first day i started the training, he was scared and unsure of himself..

but the second time, he loved being there. he has the speed, loves to please me, and the trainer says his drive is really high.. that's why she said he would be great for the sch courses.

greyhound?? wierd..

he learend how to bark at the help and big last week.. it's doing really well for the month be has been there!!!

on one day aweek i go!! the rest of the week she gives me homework to pratice on during the week!!

im not planing to breed, i just would love my dog the be healty and ears go up haha..

anymore input from anyone else would e great.

thanks

To one of above posters. Nobody said anything about breeding this dog. It's a mix and it shouldn't be bred.

Also, BH and Sch trials are open to all breeds and even mixes, it will state right there on the certificate and score book - "MIX".

That's all she wants to do, have fun with her dog and train it - nothing wrong with that.

Those ears will not come up is my guess, they will stay where they are.

Yes, dogs grow up to 2 or 3 years of age, but that goes for their body structure, where you read that, not for the ears. Ears are more than likely done.

I do see a lot of shepherd in it, though, unsure about percentage, but there is GSD there. What else - I have no clue, I can barely keep up with working bloodlnes GSDs, let alone showlines, other breeds or mixes.

You stick with your dog, have fun with him, and do what makes you happy. Don't breed a mix and give him a fun, loving and fullfiling life.

hi,

thanks for the fast reply all!!!
that helped alot!!

that does suck about his ears.. they want to go up sometimes, but then just get lazy again haha

Hey if he likes to train then do it. Get a score book and go. Then you can also register him with AKC (when neutered)  they are taking mixed breeds. Work him and next time if it matters get a pure bred GSD Good luck
PS I say hound/ shepherd
