Khlewis, please send me a link to your website in a PM.. I would love to see your dogs.  Just curious since it was mentioned here.  Also, I have to ask, why didn't you go get the dog in the first place BEFORE all this started?  The distance is still the same then as it is now, or did it change.?  Just trying to understand and make heads or tails of this mess!

Hutchins, just click on her user name, The kennel is registered on this site, and there's a link to the website there.

@ Hutchins,
I told them that I would rather come get the dog than loose my deposit. I was not told that the do is not breeding quality and was being offered as a pet. If I had been told that I would not have placed a deposit as I was looking for a stud dog.

This site is not about bashing. People should be able to come here and tell their experiences whether that is good, bad or indifferent. ooo, I get it only those with happy happy stories are allowed, it doesn't work that way.

In this case, I would refund the money as this buyer is willing to buy. She isn't backing out. You only keep a deposit when the buyer backs out and not when the seller gets tired of dealing with the person. No matter what as long as the buyer is willing to complete the transaction, the seller has no legal right to the deposit. And if you think they do try it in a court of law. Just my opinion for whatever it is worth. I would refund to get rid of the whole mess. But that is me.

If I send you $200, will you shut up?

by Shandra on 01 December 2012 - 04:12

ROFLMAO Chaz... I like your style!

Nobody put any agreements in writing, it sounds like the seller was happy to have 'fish on the line', as it were, and the buyer figured she was getting a top stud prospect at a kennel dispersion price...so everybody tossed any business sense they have out the window.  I think both parties need to pay a 'stupid tax', and should split the difference and each eat $100.

And BTW, to the OP: the mother of a pup is called the DAM., not the DAME.

If you're going to breed dogs, you should at least know the correct terminology.

Chaz, if you send me $100, I'll be quieter....

Chaz,

If you are talking to me I will take 2,000.00 to shut up, lol. I am not cheap.

Folks, you can't keep a deposit on a dog you don't want to sell. Either sell it to her or refund.

Oh and for the record I really like Bob and hope his health has improved.

I'm not as expensive as Admin here. I'll take the $200, Chaz. Teeth Smile
