I will be very picky about where this amazing dog goes. He is an amazing dog and I am in no rush or need to sell him. If he finds a home, it's because I will believe it's the best home and situation for him. Dark Sable- AW-AT. Ofa Good/Normal Hips/Elbows. Embark tested clear for all (including DM). Greets unknown people stopping for eggs or dropping of packages daily. Lives with children, has playfully bounded towards outside cat, had no intention of hunting or killing cat. Lives on hobby farm with exposure to horses, goats, chickens, ducks as well as cows he sees regularly. Puppy families fall in love with him every time they come out. No health concerns, no allergies. Big (roughly 90lb/muscle) boy. Loves car rides- travels loose in vehicle or in a crate- if loose he knows to behave. Does not climb, dig or otherwise try to escape chainlink yards. E-collar trained to allow more freedom in state parks and other wilderness walks. Perfect at the vet. No biting, no growling, no BS. This dog is truly a one of a kind amazing addition to a small FAMILY breeding program or someone who wants an already trained dog. There have been a few times in the last couple years he felt he needed to protect us and he listens to the "out" command beautifully. Solid nerves, not alof, environmentally sound. He prefers being outside during the day, but is house and crate trained. Will not let this dog fly cargo. Us considering placing him has nothing to do with him or his temperament. This is a hard to come by intact male as far as Perfect temperament and loving nature- alongside having solid nerves. My only worry about children with this boy will be him accidentally knocking them down. No food, barrier or handler aggression. Gets along with every female dog, was told he is selective with other males- he did good when we had a pomeranian male. Gets along ok with litters of puppies (not a babysitter dog- we've had him loose when puppies were out and he did ok- no aggression, however he did try to avoid them). Serious families only. Will not place to have him live in a chainlink run. He is a social dog who thrives off of human interaction and the biggest driver towards trying to find him an amazing home is I am struggling to give him the attention he craves and deserves.
