How to Successfully Adopt a Dog from a Rescue

How to Successfully Adopt a Dog from a Rescue

One of the kindest things any person can do is to adopt an animal from a shelter or humane society. These are animals that desperately need a home and human beings to love and care for them. • An Introduction to Competitive Obedience

Everyone is familiar with sit, down, and come and other similar commands that are standard fare in the general obedience training class.  The novice handler might not be familiar with what competitive obedience looks like or realize that it’s really just a continuation of those basic skills.

  • General Grooming of Dogs

Food, shelter, exercise and regular visits to the veterinarian are all a part of the basic care package that accompanies dog ownership. However, there is one more important aspect of proper canine care that must not be forgotten or neglected, and that is grooming. In order for a dog to stay clean and healthy, proper hygiene must be maintained, and given that dogs can do little more than lick themselves to remove the occasional annoying substance, grooming of your animal is your responsibility.
