It was Hendrawens Quadrille of Eveley. Much later than Avon Prince. He sired many epileptics in the seventies and was the sire of 1969 Crufts Supreme Champion Hendrawens Nibelung of Charavigne.

Klcabe Lasso also produced great beauty & character, correct structure and movement, strong herding ability. He lived until a healthy 15,5years a trait we desperately need in the breed and passed it on to at least some of his progeny. Nemo was 16.5 when we lost him. Yes Nemo the dwarf. Thank goodness he never read the book - the one that says dwarfs die young. Your post makes it sound as if Nemo's life was a bad thing. As his owner I beg to differ.
