This dog is NOT from a top of the line breeder, some genetic defects are obviously present. But I am not planning on breeding this dog, he is altered. He has a great temperament and working lines which makes him an excellent choice for Search and Rescue. He has the personality to die for. Therefor, an overshot jaw or anything that's not considered "pretty" in your eyes doesn't mean a damn thing to me or the people he saves, because he is being used to serve the public and is doing a great job. I am responsible and will not breed a dog with defects, so you "German Shepherd enthusiasts" do not have to worry.

Hope this is just a really really bad photo but, amongst other things that look bad is this dog extremely overshot when his mouth is closed????
