I apologize for stating the entire litter was "bad" (i.e. hip dysplasia, disease). We had been told that all of the pups in the litter had dysplasia and some had to be put down. We brought our dog, "Apollo vom Kuplack" to several veterinarians when he was diagnosed a 5 months old, and all expressed surprise that he had such severe dysplasia at that young of an age, in addition to Panosteitis, Mange, and other issues.

That being said, "Apollo" is a great dog. He has a wonderful temperament and intelligence. Considering his poor diagnosis at 5 months, we are happy that he is still with us after 4 years.

I am so sorry to hear that A.J. had to be put down, and am happy to hear that Authur does not have any medical issues.

just seeing this. not sticking up for breeder, as she definitely shouldn't be one, for much more than the obvious reasons but it's not fair to say the whole litter is bad. pano happens in the best breedings. demodedic mange can happen because of low immunity, pups not being cared for well enough in this case. Not all hips are bad. Have no information on the only female as far as hips go. Would be interested in seeing xrays from Apollo and AJ (even though he is no longer alive)

We own of one of AJ’s siblings, Apollo vom Kuplack. Our dog was the only all black pup in the litter. Apollo has hip dysplasia, which he was diagnosed with at the young age of 6 months. He also had Mange and Panosteitis, both being hereditary diseases. Unfortunately, his time is limited as his hip dysplasia is so severe.

It is shocking that an entire litter of pups would all have hereditary illnesses. The breeder, Diane Kuplack, refused to honor her warranty that guaranteed hips. She changed her number so we could no longer reach her to resolve the situation. She should not be allowed to breed dogs!

Every dog in this litter had/has hip problems. AJ was put down his were so bad. He was around a year old when we had to put him down. It was so sad.
