Judy Malone aka Vom Alt-Ostland, has never owned, bred or had anything to do directly with this dog. Judy Malone submitted the pedigree on here and that is the most she had to do with Grit. 

Grit does not have any titles. No one insinutated she was titled. The DDR that was put on her pedigree was only to indicate just that, that she was a DDR import. No one was meant to be misled.  

Grit has never been worked nor has she ever been trained in any manner.  She was evaluted as having no drive for any type of work. This was told to me by the person that imported her and had her evaluated. Grit however has produced better than herself and has a couple of her offpsring with Police depts and in SAR.

I need to add that Grit was bred a total of 4 times, twice to Kairo Vom Saarbach.  Only one puppy was produced that had demodetic mange, that being Lilee.   We have just aquired Grit and didn't realize she had 4 litters.   I apologize for the mistake.   Thank You very much! Grit has been bred to 3 different males. Litters consisted of 10, 9, and 11, a total of 30 puppies.  Only one case of demodetic mange has been produced.  That was from the breeding to Kairo Vom Saarbach who is Lilee's Sire.  To our knowledge, no other cases were produced by Grit.  The one case of mange could not be confirmed in writing nor by pictures, only by hearsay. When asked for proof, We were told that vet didn't have a computer, therefore nothing could be sent.  

Grit vom Hauental is the mother to Lilee vom Sudenstolz. Lilee had demodetic mange and it has been confirmed by a licenced vet dvm in Texas. The Vet did 2 scrapings to be sure - one on Lilee's eye area and one on her leg area. Both scrapings came back positive for demodex. This is a known fact about Grit's daughter, Lilee.
