Graphite..only a handfull of imports in india have a VA1 father & VA1 grandfather..VA1 dam combination..not necessary he has to win shows..but the VA genepool he's carrying is enough to correct the any faults..GsD IS A SPECIAL BREED..NO POINT IN SHOWING THEM FOR A MEAGRE CC'S TO GET CHAMPION TITLE..why would u wnt to shw ur v rated dog in all breed show's.?..wolfen-haus folks have used otello in thier program & orlando is a good specimen..many of them have used him to correct their faults..& people who cannot import dogs atleast want import line in their pedigree..so hate it or love it - he's already reached his pinnacle..

Hey Werewolf,Thomsun,Surya,Rajan... etc. First of all Otello is not yet a champion. How he was given V1 in Chennai speciality in 09 is a matter of debate!! He is a shy dog, his time is over,he is not a good producer either, has consistently produced progeny with soft ears and other deformities.Showed lot of promise when he landed in Patiala but is a classic case of Naam bade aur darshan Chote.

This specimen's progeny are throwing A class puppies, otello's Pigmentation,Head & angulation are advantages. His line is filled with VA rated dogs, so any given day, his litters would be good.

the position he got in sieger show was not deserving at all , he should have been in first five , people who criticise this kind of dogs are actually jealous that they can own the beauty

Hi everyone, I have been reading comments and following dogs on this website for quite a while. Today is one day, when I cannot sit still. I know I just have to start commenting with the little knowledge i have. Mr. Sudhakaran, thanks for helping me make a start. Well, I too am fortunate enough to have have seen Othello's beauty. I think, we should not bother about comments such as these! We all know what a beauty Othello is. Why should we even bother about immature comments from someone who does not even know how to spell a shepherd correctly!

Suresh, Ajay you should not get too hasseled by these comments from guys who hide their idenntity behind false names and use this board to vent their frustrations. Most of them do not have a GSD and some who have have lived their life trying to get a good one. I have personally faced a lot bof this and when you try to see who has written you realise that he has joined the board only on that day to start bashing your dog.

Friends this can happen to anyone. You may be the guy to get a good dog tommorrow n these guys will run you down. But remember a good dog always wins so as they say in the ARMY- BASH ON REGARDLESS!!!!

See comments on Xarax vom Fiemereck n see for yourself. The same dog has produced an awesome female Sara for my friend Karthik Reddy. Sara went best puppy in show with Mukul Vaid and R. Salvi in APKC show. She also got an RBOB and CC under Mukul.Apart from Sara there are more- will come to the ring shortly.

I say this bcos this trend is unhealthy. It does not speak well of us in an international forum like this. Its bad for the game because no dog is perfect but at the same time each dog with all his imperfections can contribute if used wisely and correctly. And lastly it upsets enthusiasts who have spent lakhs of Ruppees to get a good dog. If these guys stop our gene pool will stop expanding too.

Now about Othello. He is a good dog who does not need my certificate.Look we have 2 or 3 Karat's Yoker sons in India and if we use them well we can do some good breeding. So I urge you to go and use this dog instead searching for negatives.

I have been the first to comment on this dog after seeing him in Suresh's house. He is a good dog like many other good dogs and I would definetly use him with a correct bitch for him.

“Horand meant even for the luxury dog lovers of the time the fulfillments of their dreams: with 60 to 61 cm, large for those times, properly measured of course, without exaggerating, but for present conditions (1932) of proper medium height– with strong bone, beautiful lines, and a nobly shaped head, dry and powerful body, the entire dog one nerve".-Max von Stephanitz, the founder of the breed in his book 'Der Deutsche Schäferhund'.

Mr Sudhakaran I don't think you have ever seen Othello if you had you would know that he is the most beautiful dog in India today. He has good bone , dark pigment and is massive and I think his progeny will reflect the same and I don't think dwarfism is a concern and apparently some of the top breedeers in the south are awestruck by him and have used him in their breeding programs which would not have been the case if he was deficient in structure .

Miniature German Shepherd! You must be joking Sir, Mr. Sudhakaran! You have to see the dog yourself to appreciate him.I had good fortune of spending a long time with Otello recently & just could'nt take my eyes off him, he is a marvellous GSD & we in India are fortunate that there are people who take all the trouble to import such wonderful dogs.

Hi Sudhakaran:

Go take a look at Otello one more time and make sure this time you don't take your jealously with you, which is blinding your opinion that you expressed on the list. The dog is about 64 cms tall, has huge bone, super pigment, big head, and is clear in the head. I think he is much superior than many other dogs in India and can likely help the breed in India. I know the dog, that is why I am commenting about him. Go see the dog yourself, may be you will decide to breed to him.

The picture of the dog on this site does not say so.

Otello von Wustenberger-land (son of the famous Karats Yoker & Anika von Bradbury) is in India with Shepmagic Kennels, Bangalore. He can be rated as one of the best imports ever, in line with- the greats- Fedor Steinwaypark,Rocky haus Tepferd,Vendor haus Dexel, Vigor vom Drei Birkenzwinger & Sammo vom Team Fiemereck.'PERFECT' is the only word to describe this beauty. He is bound to create waves ones he hits the show-ring anywhere!Thank you Mr. Ajay Singh for sending this marvellous specimen to India, he will certainly enrich the genepool in this part of the world.

Hi Suresh:

This one is a much better picture of Otello but I think the dog is still much better looking in person.  The Indian german shepherd dog community should take a note of this dog, I think he is one of the top 3 german shepherd dogs in India.  I have not come across another dog in India who has his correct front (the most difficult part of the structure in today's German Shepherd dogs), his lay and length of the croup, his massive head, his color, and his substance.  Above all, it makes me so happy to send you this dog because I know he is loved at your house, and he will stay with you for rest of his life, and not get sold from one home to another.  Believe me, I am not saying these things because you are my dog, and I helped you get this dog.

Very nice Karat Yoker son now in India with Shep Magic Kennels. Thank you ajay Singh for this very good dog from all GSD lovers in India. Congrats to Suresh the owner.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
