Till passed away on 9/4/2014 and I was fortunate to have the pleasure of his company for the last 6.5 years of his life. The early photo does not do him justice as he was a dark red and black and in later life a much more filled out 108 lbs.. After arriving in the USA he no longer participated in dog sport but displayed superior protection ability in real life situations. Our work involved constant interaction with the public and his warm, calm and confident manner belied his protection abilities. He was particularly gentle and attentive to children and the elderly. He sired only 1 litter from an Argentine female in 2009 which produced 2 male and 2 females. His influence was evident in their size, conformation and temperament. I still have his only surviving son Niko a large red and black.
