Alex is now in California for breeding. He is staying at the Salerno Kennel. I Had two litter from him at my Kennel. www.vonthurmont.com Very good puppies one female made the VP1 at the 2005 NASS and her brother made VP4. If you are near California think about this male for your Breeding he is fantastic.

I visited Alex at the beginning of this month. Wow! What a spectacular dog. Megan said he was out of coat, but he was gorgeous anyway. I took some pictures of he ands I together. Only knowing him for about a half hour, he let me wrap my arms right around his neck for a few photos. Meeting Alex was meeting a famous actor. =)
I enjoyed hugging him and watching him stroll around the house.
Have to vote him a 10!

There was a show April 24th with Herr Scheerer. I believe that it was a USCA show but for some reason I don't recall that it was advertised on the web.Perhaps it was and I just didn't notice it because I don't normally go to that area.
(I agree that showing at bigger shows may be intriqueing but it is sometimes harder to win at bigger shows.)

Thanks Troll. So there was a show that was not listed on the USA or WDA
schedule?

Was it a private or an exclusive show?

Was it a WDA or USCA sanctioned show?

The dog looks lovely, have you seen him in person? If this were my dog, I like to strut him with a bigger show. Roger

I heard that the show was at OG Wesconn. John Henkel's club. And I was told that it was a very small attendance. Jochem has said the dog is in Connecticut so it probable was there.

Congratulations on Alex’s first place.

Which show did he win? There was a USA show and a WDA show this weekend and he is not listed in the results.

Which show did he compete in? Is it a special event, Landesgrupen, regional?

Which dogs were in the class? Was it a stiff competition?

I am eager to see him in USA Sieger show, and see if this dog can bite!

Thank you Jochem. I saw that name on the dog in the USA Magazine. I have been looking at several males and found this one a bit confusing with so many people claiming to own the dog. thank you again for the clarity.

Can anyone tell me who actually owns this dog? I have seen many people claiming to own him but if I am going to consider breeding to this dog, who needs to sign the litter registration?

My female has produced coats in the past so I was just curious.Thank you Jochen and Mandy. And I do say that the few times that I have met or spoken to Meagan, she was very nice and seemed very reputable. It is good to have a male of this quality available in the States.

I had 5 litters out of Alex Farbenspiel and 5 different females, around 20 puppies and only 1 longcoat, out of Quaifa Wienerau, and she gave me in every litter a longcoat puppy, in my oppinion he¿s not a typical longcoat producer

In my opinioin Alex is a super dog and it is great that he is in USA for breeding.
Also Meagan, the owner, is a super person and always willing to help out in any way she can to accomadate people.
Alex has excellent temperament and work ethic, this I know from first hand experiance.
Oh and sorry but look to the females also when you talk about coats, the male DOES NOT control all - contrary to what human males and male dogs want to dream:):) JOKE.

I have been watching the breeding of this male in the US and have been wondering if there has been any notes about the amount of "coats" produces from this male?

Dog1,
I have seen Myriam and Madonna Lachenerweg while in Arizona and a very nice male out of Alex x Arlet vom Trienzbachtal.
Beautiful color, coats, excellent structure,
tight feet, Very correct ears on all.
They all had very nice withers and straight toplines. Outreaching, low to the ground movement. Beautiful overall type.

Thanks for the information about the location of this fantastic male. I have used him last month for breeding and what you said was very true. This male not only has fantastic temperament and bloodlines but he is just beautiful. The breeding was very easy and the owner was easy to deal with.
My Vet could feel puppies and I am so excited about this litter.
This is the kind of information that this site should be used for. Again thank you for the the information.

I just wanted y'all to know I just visited a kennel in northern Virginia, Haus Juris. They just imported great stud dog, Alex vom Farbenspiel....WOW!! He has such a great temperament, and is truly an absolute black and red. I had the pleasure to witness his great bitework, and his training for the Seiger show....WOW that dog can move!!!

Does anyone else have any progeny or a bitch for sale that I could breed with this wonderful dog??

The kennel does have an excellent website: http://www.hausjuris.com

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
