On July 11, 2019 I sent a wire transfer to the above named person for a German Shepherd that was to be bred and confirmed pregnant and to be shipped to me in the US. To make a super long story short, as of this date, May 30, 2020, I still have not received said female. I have sent numerous messages to this person, some have been answered with promises of purchasing, breeding and shipping a female to me and some go unanswered.
Has anyone dealt with this person and if so, what was the outcome? I am at a loss as to what to do and am just sick over losing $6000. Guess the old saying "buyer beware" is pretty fitting in this situation.

I have noticed many ads..
DOGS FOR SALE from SERBIA.
Who are these people? Where are they getting these BEST DOGS, and BEST PUPPIES? All the ads are the same.
If I were to get a German Shepherd, it would not be from Serbia.
Too many take the money and run cheats saying ‘SEE YOU LATER SUCKER’!
LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Sorry that you got taken.

How many times do there need to be "Do not buy from Serbia" warnings posted by members here, before people start to get the message ? Unless you know well, and trust, a breeder in Serbia already, no one should be sending money there. I hate to tar all breeders in any country with the same brush, but it has really got to the point where we have to say this. Trouble is we are saying it over & over and no-one seems to listen.

There are always risks to sending dosh, especially at high prices, to any breeder in any country far away from oneself, for an unseen dog; but when you only know of the breeder from their own adverts, not any international reputation or personal recommendation, and do not do rigourous 'due diligence' on them first, you are particularly asking for trouble.

Its a big bad world out there ... better to assume people are not going to be ethical and honorable, and get a nice surprise when they do turn out to be goodies, than to expect everybody to be saintly and then be so disappointed, and so financially deficit.

I neglected to put in my first post that a friend and breeder (I actually have purchased a dog from her in the past) has used this breeder for several years so I thought I could trust him.
