Several years ago, I purchased a male German Shepherd from Goran Rokic. I received the dog here in the USA and really loved him though he had some health issues when he first arrived. A couple years later, I purchased another, a female. When she arrived, she had her foreign papers but I needed her import registration papers to register her by the AKC. I contacted Goran and asked for the proper papers and he asked me to return the foreign registration papers he had sent. I did so. I waited months for the import paperwork to arrive...that was way back in 2014/early 2015. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted him via facebook which is how I had originally met him. I spent quite a lot of time communicating in this manner. However, over the past two years, I have tried to get back in contact with him but he has never responded. It clearly shows he has read each message inquiring about the papers, but has failed to contact me further. Each and every time I message him, he reads it, and then nothing. Does anyone have any idea as to what avenue I can take to get a response or to get the import pedigree/registration for my dog?
I think more than enough time has been provided and a lot of patience expended at this time...Can anyone help me?

UK dealings with Kennel Gim have apparently been straightforward, I believe - although I appreciate that here we are geographically nearer so it might make for easier trading ? Unfortunately we can't ask the breeder who used Gim most, because she sadly just died.

I wonder if the fact that you apparently did not make sure to get more than a FB page way of contacting Rokic, when you sent back the original Registration, convinced him that you were not particularly serious about getting American registration ? A lot of buyers are not.
That does not excuse him; but the longer these non-communication things go on, sometimes the more difficult they are to resolve.
Can you not contact the Croatian kennel authorities and get them to intercede on your behalf ? I wish you good luck in getting this sorted out.

The papers I returned to him were requested by him as he said he needed them returned in order to send me the export pedigree.

Yes, as I understand the process he probably did need to submit the original papers - we would, I think, need to send the green Registration certificate back to the UK Kennel Club at some point if we were arranging for dogs to leave the UK and be registered in another country of destination. ( Dunno for sure, as not tried to do it lately.) - I don't know to what extent new technology, computerised recording, and paperless transactions are changing this - or how far on - on that score - Croatia has reached.

But it is part of what I am saying to you about how little interest in the process you seemed to be taking, that you appear not to have got him to explain exactly why he needed them back, any more than you found a more solid way of communicating with him than Facebook. Language barriers not withstanding, there is always Google Translate and I gather that he speaks quite a lot of English anyway, I had heard. Not trying to lay all the blame on you for the problem with him, at all, just saying you might have made things easier for yourself in the event the contacts went wrong (as they have).

I have just received a reply from Goran and he apologized for it having taken so long. He requested some info from me and will get a copy of the correct paperwork. For now, I will send him info and therefore drop this complaint marking it resolved. Thank you. Debbie

Good result, so far ! (I'm really not that surprised, since very experienced people here do not seem to have problems with dealing with him.) Do keep us informed of what happens in the end. TY

Hello everyone . I have read these posts carefully because I do not follow this link and I'm very angry. First of all people who write here under pseudonyms "against" me and why they do not reveal the real names. My dog kennel (www.kennel-cim.com) is too valuable and honest with many world champions and CRUFTS winners and countless champions. This "DEBBIE " writing writes its full name and surname and where it is because I have dogs all over the world as well as the name and the data of the dog can then respond to her well. People from the UK know me from the CRUFTS and UK sieger exhibitions and I have been attending a dog show there. Please open the name, family name and other information to know what it is all about. I've never denied any answers or explanations except for some idiots that, unfortunately, have in kinology - so open your faces and facts DEBBIE and Hundmutter . My name is Goran Rokic and GIM KENNEL CROATIA so I always speak openly OK?

There seems to be a significant time lapse since the post from mrdarcy to Goran? It had appeared to be in the resolved state. Goran, did something else happen to cause you to post?
Goran, your website isn't working either, by the way.
