So, the FDA announced concerns over flea/tick meds causing neurological problems in dogs. We use natural products on our dogs and haven't had any flea/tick problems this year and we live in the southeastern portion of the USA. We use a natural spray I bought at Walmart that contains essential oils as well as diatomaceous earth.

Thanks for the heads up. I used a natural product I got at a usually-great dog place that was only intended to prevent fleas, etc. In less than a month, we had FLEAS :-( I ended up using FrontLine Plus since we were actually physically moving to another state. Have not seen any since, but I'm looking for something else so we don't end up with dead/damaged puppies next year.

I've also specifically warned me about Bravecto and all "grocery store" brands (AKA non-prescription/never-been-prescription at PetSmart).

I was recently told about a garlic spray for yards for mosquitoes, fleas, etc. that doesn't hurt the bees, but don't have any experience with it (yet).
