Looking for clarification on reading a linebreeding list. There are two symbols I dont understand. One is a right angle arrow next to a generation number. The other is a negative symbol next to a generation number. Such as "-5". When I see these symbols attached to associated generation numbers, there is no inbreeding coefficient % on that line breeding. Any clarification is greatly appreciated.

Give me a pedigree that has both these symbols in it. I know what the -5 is but not sure about what you mean by right angle arrow next to a generation number.

The right angled arrow indicates that that dog appears in the dog above it’s ( in bold ) pedigree and shows how many times.. the - 5,7 or whatever the numbers are are the generations on the mothers line.
so using Xephs screenshots for example ...eagle valleys Pfizer is in the pedigree on generation 5 of the mothers side of dogs pedigree he appears in
