Put the collar on my 9 yr old rat terrier a month ago. Noticed the same day he was a bit lethargic but he also had a shot that day and I was advised by the vet that that could happen. Over the next weeks he remained lethargic and then began just staring into space. His head began to wobble just a TINY bit. Noises around the neighborhood no longer put him on high alert and he seemed to prefer going off by himself rather than sitting next to me and "helping" me in the kitchen. My high-rev rat was no longer his usual active, engaging bratty self. Last night I decided to remove the collar and began reading online posts re: Seresto. I gave him a bath and washed his regular collar which had been in close contact with the Seresto collar. 6 hours later he was markedly improved. He continues to show improvement and I hope he is 100% soon. Although the reviews seem to indicate most dogs tolerate this collar the scary reviews are REALLY scary! If you choose to use this product keep an eye on your dog!

Often wonder if one branch of Big Pharma EVER concerns itself with how well its products work when used in conjunction with the output of another company / branch of the industry.

Moral of this post for us all to take away would seem to be: no matter how well your dog responds to one brand of e.g. flea collar, it would be a good idea to remove that and maybe leave a few days, before having the dog vaccinated.

OP: sorry to hear your boy went through this, and glad he is doing well again now.
