I came here asking for thoughts, and I got them! Mudder I'll take the high road here and not stoop to your level. In haste i posted reported weight but meant to say recorded as in recorded by my veterinarian. That's simple math, 30kg recorded is 13 to 15kg less than the statement from the seller which was 43-45kg. I have a specific need for an oversized dog so not sure why "it serves me right" for not getting one. Yes I did my due diligence and was looking for opinions, period. So Susie, Im not sure where " Be glad you got a dog at all" comes from but again you have stated your opinion. To the members who took the time to answer in the absence of sarcasm or a high and mighty place I thank you and also to the administrator who helped clear the air--

Sorry, Mike, Ididn't question your homework, I just thought about all those people who paid good bucks and got nothing at all.

For an adult male ( 1 year + ) 30 kgs is on the very low side of the scale, and you stated that he is not thin.
That said this dog either has been very fat, or the seller lied about the weight, or you simply got another dog.

Because of that I asked "oversized or overweight"....I should have been more clear, but English is not my mother language, it's difficult for me.

What's his size? Did you get any pics , and does he look like the dog in these pics?
Once again: Is it possible to DNA test him?

What's the timespan between the message "43-45 kgs" and the day he arrived?
No healthy dog will loose 15 kgs within 4 weeks (?) without major reason.
