Almost all of the members from India are not entering the registration number correctly. India has a breed book. The initials that are used for it are KCI. You must enter this in the Breed Book. I have debated this with many members from India. If you do not include the KCI, from now on the dog will be deleted.

Here is a picture from the FCI handbook showing that KCI is the Breed Book for India

Do not forget that PDB has members all over the world and what seems obvious to you, is not necessarily obvious to the rest of the world.

And since Fantom76 has gotten your attention, I'd like to suggest members in India brush up on their biosecurity measures to protect their dogs from exposure to the parvovirus outbreak that has been reported in the city of Trichy [Tamil Nadu].

Please make sure your puppies are appropriately vaccinated, and limit visitors or have them disinfect their clothing, footwear and skin before permitting them to interact with your dogs or enter your property.

Should any of your dogs go off their feed, develop loose stools or diarrhea, or appear lethargic, or have a fever, it is better to err on the side of caution and at least notify your vet of such changes. The earlier parvo is diagnosed, the more likely your dog will be to recover from it with appropriate supportive care to control the diarrhea and gastric inflammation and keep the animal well-hydrated.
