DDR/CZECH working line GSD breeders in the UK - Page 1

Hi,

I am looking for breeders in the UK that breed along the DDR, Czech working lines.
I know of the Jinopo bred dogs but that would mean importing, so I would like to find UK based breeders and talk with them.

Not looking to purchase until next year, so need to do my research.

I have found a couple of breeders but would like to know if there are anymore?

I've had GSD's for over 35 years but were from show lines. Sadly my last girl was put to sleep in 2010, she was bred by Percy Elliot of Vikkas.

I had decided not to get another one and have been shepherd free for 7 years.
I am now looking to get a new dog from working lines as opposed to the show lines that I had been familiar with.

Any advice and a shove to the right direction would be most appreciated.

Looking for DDR or Czech or combination.

You could do worse than to go to the Website of the

German Shepherd Dog League [GSDL] Working Dog Group of Great Britain,

find their list of Clubs, and get in touch with the Secretaries of those local Clubs.

Thank you so much for your respone. Yes I will be in touch with the GSDL of GB Working Branch. I was hoping that someone here would have had first-hand knowledge on said dogs in the UK.

We have plenty of quality breeders of West German working lines in the the UK.

What is the reason you are specifically looking for DDR/Czech bloodlines?

No reason for the Eastern type, to be truthful I had not thought of Western working type, I am used to Western show type.

As long as they have good temperaments and working drive, then I see no reason not to consider them. If you know of any reputable kennels, I would be pleased to check them out.
