German Shepherd Pup.
Male, (not sedated)
No issues X-Rays were taken because of curiosity and making sure everything looked good before buying. Thoughts please?

Looking at the image I think right side looks very good but am a little curious what people think about left side. This is a puppy I am considering buying I just had to put my last dog down due to severe HD he was barely two years of age so while I know puppies are still developing I wanted to make sure he was healthy. Parents are all tested.

For those of you not familiar with bone development, or seeing x-rays on a dog this young, the lines you see at the top of the hip joints on the far left and right of the x-ray are the growth plates, which haven't fused yet. There is also a growth plate on the ball of the hip joint, and the one on the left side of the x-ray (which would be the RIGHT hip) looks very odd.

The resolution on the photo is not great, and it's hard to see detail, but...I dunno. Not happy with what I can make out. What does the vet think??

The vet in Poland that saw the pup stated " The last hand written document is stating, that on the day of X-ray the dog shows normal hips"

They look very nice.

Just wondering BritnyHon, was your last dog neutered before he was 2 years old?

@ Ryanhaus

I sent you a message as I was unable to post for the longest time.

Is anyone else having troubles with the forums today being able to post and it saying "wait a few minutes" I was waiting a bit longer then normal.

You have to wait between frequent posts because there was a spamming problem.

I've had it happen to me a few times before.

More opinions are welcome on the above X-Rays. Thank you

Left side of the screen (probably right hip) is very hard to read; would like to see that socket a bit deeper but that could be his age; also x-ray is blurry there where the ball of the socket meets the socket. Probably OK, but just can't evaluate with this x-ray. Zoomed in and enlarged but still not positive. Otherwise they look OK to me. Did you x-ray his elbows also? If you are talking buying and shipping from Poland, I would do elbows also. JMHO Best of luck Nan
