Just a vent.
Sent 3 German Shepherd dogs to "alleged" trainer in Indiana, paid every 2 weeks for training and food and board. He breeds one of my females without my consent, sent me a picture of my dog, (who hasn't had HD/ED certified nor DM testing) tied to his giant dog. He refuses to return my female, telling people I owe him money?// She allegedly had 5 puppies...Any suggestions??? Hired a lawyer, went to police.. this just crushes me, definitely want out. I did get 2 dogs back after driving to get them , but didn't return my crates, any of my leashes, harness etc..

That's theft and fraud. Hopefully, lawyer and police will help.

Not a whole lot of help. I have to go there with the local police, which is a bit frightening considering I have to block everything. He steals my dog and I have to go into self defense mode. I'm sure this is how he got his other dogs. I will expose him when I get my girl back.

Where did you find this guy?!

by Sassyspurs on 26 October 2016 - 13:10

It is a long story but, I was being naive. I didnt google his name before I hired him so therefore, made a huge mistake. Just sickens me. However on that note, I do not want to waste any more precious time on that POS>

If you're not going to name this individual and save others the same distress why even come here to "vent"??

OP did say ^^^ would 'expose' this trainer "when he gets his bitch back" so I suggest we wish the OP good luck in getting her returned to him as soon as possible; and then we may find it will be very interesting who the trainer turns out to be.

Unfortunately a very common practice among trainers and dog boarding people , they steal/collect / breed dogs, why it's crucial to have trusted people , I would personally apply some sort of physical violence and violence seems to be gold and gets people's attention. But that's me

This is made possible because some so called breeders won't put in their own time, or even properly vet the outsources they hire, into doing what it takes to verify their own stock.

And then when they do it to each other, it is such a big boo-hoo.
