Hello all,
I have been carefully adding my dog's pedigree into the database, and had many matches to dogs already entered. But there are two that I feel are definitely misspelled and I am wondering how to get those corrected.
One is Damarhoff's Adonus Thorne, which is mispelled in the database as "Adonis". It is definitely the same dog, as the AKC reg. numbers are the same. I've sent a message to the administrator, but it has not been changed as of yet. How long does that usually take?
The second one is Nellie Bell Coughlin. This is spelled in the database as "Nelle", and has a different AKC reg. number listed than what is on my dog's pedigree. I went to the AKC website and looked up both the reg. number and name. The reg. number returns a bitch named Alexa vom Haus Iris (who is listed as progeny of "Nelle" Bell Coughlin in the pedigree database and has the same AKC reg. listed). The name "Nelle Bell Coughlin" does not return a result, but the spelling "Nellie Bell Coughlin" returns the same bitch that is on my dog's pedigree. So I feel strongly the database entry is incorrect and was wondering how to get that corrected, as well.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Both were already corrected by an Admin when I checked on them. Nellie Bell Coughlin - correct AKC DN17290805.
They were in White Shepherd database, but are now in German Shepherd database as all AKC German Shepherds are now in the German Shepherd database.

DN37110007 Leonidas Von Heindenreich
German Shepherd Dog
Another admin had already changed these, but that Admin is too modest to post, so I do it.

For future reference only the creator of the pedigree or an admin can change the name of a dog. We made that change to keep scammers from slightly changing a dogs name and trying to sell fictitious dogs/puppies. It was also done to keep members from maliciously changing dogs names. While our pedigrees are not always 100% perfect our pedigree admin have done an outstanding job of trying to verify 2 million plus pedigrees. I think we all owe them a thank you and a measure of gratitude for the thankless hours they spend everyday working on the pedigrees. Thank you admins you are doing an awesome job.

Sorry to hear about the scammers and malicious people out there. There always has to be someone out there trying to ruin it for the rest of us.
