An image

I thought this is nice, to give an idea what hapenned to GSD structure over the years, I do not intend to start a debate over which is better than which, just sharing an animation that I thought was nice

Good animation, Ibrahim. Thanks for posting that.

Interesting Ibrahim! The latter is very pretty and the former is similar to looks of other working shepherds.

Hello Gustav and aaykay. It is interesting for me how the animation shows the change done to the head and jaws, really interesting

Also, the size of the chest, skull, and brain as well, that develops and gets bigger.

This is probably the first accurate animation I have seen

The animation is not correct .. based on what scientific studies or measurements?? Certainly there are many, many GSD that do not conform to the fallacy of this animation. I have had both "show line" and so called "working line" and none of my dogs have had anything to do with this silly cartoon. The only part of the animation that may be correct is the changes in posing the dogs with the back legs further apart and set as to accentuate a stupid pose with the rear artificially low. To say that this cartoon reflects the reality of the GSD as a breed is far fetched and incorrect. What the SV dog sellers and SV judges have demanded has changed in order to sell dogs and win plastic trophies has changed but the underlying genetics and strengths of the GSD has not. I still have no problem breeding very good dogs with excellent strength using the current blood lines. Don't blame the dogs for human stupidity and greed.

It's really good to know I can come to you and get a good dog or learn about what is good and what isn't.

The structure of show is different from that of work line, I think that is evident to everyone in the breed.
The work ability, generally speaking, in work line is much better than in the show. Differences are there, whether we like it or not. Both types have their own strengths and weaknesses, that I agree to

For me, I think best structure is the one in between 25-75% of this development path. The extra  25% after that is a negative exaggeration, in other words " too much " and exceeds what the standard calls for. This extra 25% is what causes loose rears and hock walkers
