Hi I am in Georgia and am looking for some Bauernhoffen lines around here. I have a black male I got from John Roper in Marietta, Ga. but I am afraid he is to old to produce puppies now. I would really like to keep the bloodline as they are very sweet and protective dogs! If anyone can help me please send me an email... wooliecreations@gmail.com Thanks. Kim

I don't think there was an "n" in the middle of the kennel name. They were older American show lines and some of the German dogs that were imported back farther in the pedigrees I believe from memory and may have bred to a few black males owned by an American breeder. Good luck.

Yes you are correct it is an old line of show and German dogs. It was a line developed by Henrietta Bauer in the 90's I think. She has passed away and I am seeing most of her lines are gone now. :( The spelling is correct though - Bauernhoffen.
Thanks :)
