missing infomation on a dog on this site need help please - Page 1

Hi everyone im new to the site am im trying to look up a friends dog but it dosnt come up with the dog. It shows his father and mother but not his dog. We all so looked up the names of all dogs for that litter and they dont com up as well. we have the papers and everything here with us, showing the full pedigee infomation of the dog.

We all so looked up 2 other of the dog he owns ( which one was a year older and one a year older) and they showed up in the search.

Is there a reason why the dog would not show up on the data base. could it be a data entry error? or can we contact some one to put it in or get it fixed?

The reason his dog doesn't come up is because no one has ever entered it. You are misunderstanding the nature of this database.It is NOTan official registry, like the AKC or the German SV. All the information on it has been entered either by Oli, the site owner, or by other individuals who want to have their dogs' pedigrees available for others to see and use in research.

You or your friend are quite welcome to enter the missing pedigree. Recent changes to the site mean that only the person who enters it will be able to make changes to it (unless a moderator changes the ownership.)
