Hi,

So, don't know if the rules are the same at other contries but really having a hard time undertanding how this works... The quotes are from the regulation, but used the google translate to translate them so sory if they are not great.

1º doubths:

"5. All evidence shall be governed by the regulations of the WUSV, open exclusively, the copies of the German Shepherd Dog, officially recognized and recorded in the Book of Origin affiliated organizations in FCI and descent known and Controlled by CLUB RACE Member WUSV. The health bulletin presentation with proof of  vaccination is mandatory. Rabies within the validity period and carried out more than eight days. It is mandatory to identify the dogs by electronic method by applying a subcutaneous capsule (microchip), and also tattoo method for all dogs born after 2006. All dogs born after 2005 subscribers in Open class must present hip dysplasia exemption, as well as submission of the original pedigree recognized by the FCI"

Becky pedigree is WUSV "acepted" right?  Is it mandatory for Becky to have tattoo? Is the hip exame mandatory to be aproved by the PACP (GSD portuguese club)?

2º doubths:

"10. They may have a Excellent rating copies that has documentary evidence free of hip dysplasia in open class and have proof of work equivalent to IPO 1 with sufficient rating in working class cumulatively."

So should we make IPO first?

By the way, what do you thing about my girl? she is 15 mounths today, about 23 kg (51 lbs) still turnig some more yellow in some places, mostly belly and front paws Regular Smile in your opinion/experience is she going to became most more yellow? we like her whatever but realy love her black...

Thanks for all,

Ana

PACP follows the WUSV regulations!

1st as long as she as a chip, she doesn't need the tatoo.

Yes, you must have the HD Displasia resuts!

And i suppose she has a LOP so of course it's recognized by FCI and WUSV.

Snusjunkie yes she has LOP, and we did a preliminary exam in the vet and she has no hip problems, but we were told that (and the rx apeears at PACP price list) that the rx has to be approved by them and that has to be done by a veterinarian member of the club... The Rx that appears in the table of them cost around 150 euros minimum. The rx we did was you around 60 euros...

My problem with that WUSV question is that when I bought Becky, the breeder who sold her explained to me that she was not registered with the kennel name of her breeders (the litter was a collaboration of the affix "Quinta do Mondego" and "von Haus Mores") because "She has some dogs in her pedigree that are from countries not accepted by the WUSV" at the time I researched about it and could not understand very well what he was talking about and it smell kind of fishy to me, but my boyfriend really wanted that bitch and we ended up fetching her, we do not think we could come to want to compete with her.
That part of the text, just realized, it is badly translated what the rules say is "
the ascendancy must be known and be controlled by CLUB RACE Member WUSV"

By the way what do you think of my girl? we love everything in her, but for a parent the child is always perfect... I'm kidding, I know it should be a little larger, the color can not get much lighter in some areas, and her front feet could be somewhat rounder.
What kind of classification think she could come to receive?

you were the only answer, so it is now slain with all issues muahahahah Devil Smile

Ana, you need pedigrees from a club accepted by WUSV/FCI ( PACP in your case ). I´m not aware of other clubs in your country.
Your dog looks healthy and still very young. She doesn´t look like the fancy showlines, but she sure looks like a German Shepherd dog.
On a show she won´t have much success, she lacks the fancy showline coat, no possibility to hide anything, but her structure is good, she should be able to get an sg rating, and that´s what it is about a show, a rating, one step on the ladder to breedworthiness.
Her working abilities and her character are much more important.
Please check her teeth and bite prior to showing her - don´t wait for a bad surprise.

Ana, your dog must have a LOP pedigree and you need to be a member of PACP.

The XR cost is 65€ for members. I do HD/ED xrays + ADN for 90€ and then to submitt the results to the SV you'll have to pay 65 € just for HD or 110 for both HD and ED.

you should contact PACP and ask them directly all the questions and doubts that you have! ;-)
