Does anyone know the official position of the SV on breeding regarding transitional vertebrae?

The OFA recommends breeding the dog to another dog that does not have transitional vertebrae.

RSV 2000 in their website, admits the problem and states that selective breeding measures should ba taken in such cases.

Yet, there is no formal regulation that bans dogs with such maloformation from breeding programs even thoug I have a feeling that the time is close....as has happened with elbows that x-rays became obligatory for dogs born after 2004.

What about the SV?

For those who care, SV breeding for dogs with lumbosacral transitional vertebrae is upon free choice of the breeder.

Conclusions are yours!

Do they even note it on a-stamps? OFA does (there will be a spine notation on the hip certificate)
