Hello, after my first post on the forum to be a cry for help, I hereby officially present my baby girl:

Register name: Bruxa Quinta do Salomão
Family and friends Name: Becky
Date of birth: 03/23/14
Birthplace: Coimbra
Currently live in: Lisbon surroundings
At the moment, with more or less 14 months of age, it weighs 23 kg and measures about 56/57 cm height

She is a spectacular dog!
Smart, intelligent, motivated, sweet and docile to the owners and friends, relatively easy to train, obedient and performs very well with the other dogs in the family: - Mic, has 14 kg and about 4 years old, was rescued from the street and is a Portuguese Podengo cross,
- Isa is our other baby girl, has two years old, was adopted when she was only one month old (was left in a shelter with a sister inside a cardboard box when he was days old), weighs 9 kg and is dim mixture of Poodle with maybe a Portuguese Podengo, and it's definitely the head of the house,

Becky is with me since 4 months old, was always a lively and playful puppy, we train in "Associação Cinófila do Oeste" (Association of canine West), we trained a little of everything, obedience, bite and defense, jumping and agility, search, and she is very good at all but especially loves defense, bite and search (whether this search for objects or people).

Just do not get it, but not even a little, she can not be friends of our cat. She thinks he is her  mortal enemy... anyway ... Wink Smile

I like your "gang" - nice to see dogs enjoying life, especially Isa and Mic. You have a good heart.

Keep us updated on Becky´s progress! Thumbs Up

Thank you all, my babies are also grateful.

Isa's life "always" (since he was 15 days old) was "a dog's life": eat, sleep, play, and eat some more. She always was our baby girl and totaly queen of the house!

But the Mic, had a hard life ... He was left on the street with a pack of eight dogs, all hunting type. Unfortunately in Portugal abandonment is a very serious case and especially in this type of dog, the hunters when a dog has fears, or is already old dog, just dump them in any place and leave them to die. Me and a neighbor, feed the pack and with the help of some shelters, arranged homes for almost all dogs. Because at the time I could not afford to have another dog. Mic is just like hundreds of abandoned dogs in Portugal, if not thousands, and nobody looks at them twice, basically a dog with short brown hair ...
He spent about one year in the kennel, and as soon as could I adopted my boy. He is a dog with a lot of fears, is with me for about 1 year, but continues to have some trauma, we have been working hard and it is improving... Now is a very happy dog, relatively playful, loves females dogs (he is neutered but still does not like males). But most of all LOVE TO CUDDLE! Heart

HAPPY GANG =)

I think your dogs are very lucky to have such a lovely home.  Your GSD looks a lot like the photos another member, Mithuna, has posted of his female. She's  quite attractive, I like her a lot.
