Not to pick on this club but the comment in it that says that to read the committee information from the meeting you have to be a member.

Now this seems to be the same for all the clubs so am not picking on this club. Why is this so. Why do you not want outsiders, potential new members, to know what is going on.

It is bad enough that we have two clubs fighting but also one that does not want you if you wish to belong to more than one club.

DVG America is looking better every day for those who just want to train

@Western Rider -

DVG America is looking better every day for those who just want to train

does the DVG off many events if you want to 'compete'? I just looked at thier events page (http://www.dvgamerica.com/events.html) and i have to assume this wrong and has stopped being updated. When i compare DVG Events page to the UScA events page (http://www.germanshepherddog.com/events-new/) it seems that UScA is the org to be in if you want to "compete"

I have not looked at their events I think that is because there is a Club near me.
I train my dogs as far as I can with a friend who is also training me as well, this is where I am now and having a good time. I have for dogs that I am working with
She will then take and trial my dogs before I ruin them, I am so slow they may die of old age or boredom before I am able.
She goes to more trials that is her fun, not going to say what club don't want to start a thing here.

I compete with my horses and am sure as I get better with my dogs may want to compete with them as well. Right now I am just training so can get by with DVG.

That is why I don't like the fighting with all three clubs Limits and hurts members and Clubs alike.

I think I'd like to know why it takes this club until 2015

for a General Mtg  to hear the Auditors Reports for 2012 and 2013.

In the Denver Metro area there are four DVG clubs and one UScA.  I go where I can trial and where I feel welcome. I have Dobermanns and recently found out that  the UScA IPO III club changed the rules where gaining a  title under a UScA Judge at a AWDF member club (UDC USRC AWMA etc.) no longer count. Only an actual UScA trial under a UScA or SV judge count now (as of two years ago)  My membership expires in August and I can see no reason to renew. UScA offers less and less to Alternate Breeds IMO

 The Schutzhund 3 Club rules have ALWAYS required titles to be earned at USCA trials.  The titles eared at other AWDF trials did not count, except , perhaps, for a small window of time a few years ago, when I recall a very brief change to allow titles from other AWDF trials with a USCA judge.     I have supported tr USCA, USRC, DVG and GSSCC trials with entries over the years.  Consequently, I never qualified for the  USCA Sch 3 Club.  Not really an issue--it's an ugly jacket, anyway.   I bought myself a nice piece of jewelry to commemorate the titles.
