I found some information for you on the male you inquired about.. I tried to post sooner, but could not figure out how to get a screenshot onto the page!

The dam you gave is either not registered with the AKC, or its name is spelled differently than what you have.

There are TWO "gunny george's" listed, but both pre-date the birth of yours..so cannot be the correct dog.

You can order a pedigree on "sergent thomas" from AKC, and that will give you a plethera of information from which to start a search on his bloodlines and health testing/videos/titles of ancestors.   Post what the AKC gives you, and I will be happy to help you understand what you are looking at.

Your dog might have come from imports or "working lines", but many people embellish their dogs' backgrounds in an attempt to impress and secure puppy sales. Some just don't know any better and repeat what they were once told by someone else.

Honestly, it is very doubtful that the person or person(s) who bred your dog ever made more, so focus on the background (pedigree) of the sire, instead of looking for the actual "breeder".

Based on what you can find out about the pedigree, I or others will help you locate similar dogs (if possible) or people who raise using similar lines. I think you can even order the research pedigree online with a credit card...  get as long and detailed as you can.
