Hey all! I am new to this site and pretty much new to breeding. My husband and I have a beautiful Czech shepherd. We are wanting to continue his outstanding pedigree; which is located within the database.
I am seeking any advice at all you guys have for us.
Thank you so much

SCompton There are many threads on the database for you to search and get many answers to questons.
Not sure what information you are looking for as you did not say what you were looking for. Seeking advice everyone here may have for you is way to vague and open for any help.
Here are some areas that past advice was asked for
How to get them to breed, how to sell, how much to sell for, who to breed to, what colors sell bet etc
So could you try and narrow the type of advice you would like and maybe someone who is having a good day can answer you.
Thank you

First suggestion would be to have his hips and elbows certified as being sound, unless you've got his results from prior to when he was imported.
If he's not already registered with the AKC, it would be best to get that process started on before you breed him, too, because it can take some time for the paperwork go through the channels.
How familiar are you with the Czech bloodlines?
Edited to add: He looks like a brick house--has much physical substance, that's for sure.

Didn't hear back. I don't want to drive 6 hours to find out the dog doesn't have a full mouth or has a bad occlusion. Their purpose in wanting to breed him that they told me, was they wanted a puppy from him. Looks like they got a litter done, so this thread may be moot. Nice dog, and I was deffinately interested in using him if he was 'all there'. I explained to them, being a PSD does not guarantee all the 'parts' are correct :-)

Ah, didn't notice the initial date on this post.
Nevermind.
