Can I get some suggestions on good WL breeders in the USA? Thanks

Pretty vague...

What do you want in a dog? What's important to you?

I would like a pup from titled dogs, IPO on both sides. Good health and rep of the breeder. I just don't know the USA lines in sport and work ability.

With regard to ErtelHaus' recommendation, please refer to this earlier thread on this site. The document link referenced in that thread is no longer active, but can be accessed here, page 6.

LSU mom, Sue & Gabor Szilasi, von Tajgetosz GSDs, may have what you're looking for. They're located in Nashville, TN, and have an excellent reputation. You can find additional info on their operation here

Thanks all. My last dog was a import and the flight was 1700 above the price of the dog. If I can get a great dog in the US I would love that. Again, thank you.

While there's certainly lots of nice dogs overseas, the same bloodlines are available here from breeders who have imported those dogs...and chances are good that you won't have to spend an additional $1700 in shipping, if you're patient and willing to wait for a breeding that suits your tastes from a breeder who is within a reasonable driving distance of you. PLUS by purchasing stateside, you should at least be able to meet the dam, if you're buying a puppy that was born here in the US.

I'd also suggest you do a full web search on any breeder anyone suggests, including my suggestion, to see what comes up with regard to issues clients have had with them. While even a fantastic breeder is bound to make someone unhappy at least once, it should throw a stop sign in your path when you keep seeing the same breeders named in complaints about the same problem again and again. There are breeders who have excellent stock, but never, ever seem to be able to provide the registration paperwork to their buyers, for example; if you don't mind paying good money for a dog that you may never get registration for, then that breeder could well be a good avenue to investigate; for me, there are too many other breeders in the US with equally as fine dogs who DO take care of the registration requirements before they start selling puppies to even consider doing business with that particular breeder.

I wish you the best in your search, and look forward to you introducing us to the dog you choose at the end of that quest.
