I took these on Sunday. Cherokee is 4 months old and seems to actually like her costume. A few weeks ago we photoshopped a picture, turning her into the Wisconsin Bat Dog. We decided to make her her own costume so she could be a bat for Halloween and go with us Trick or Treating.

lol...you got THAT right, Fawn! :D I wonder if they used chalk or water-soluble paint?
I supposed this would be less annoying to the dog than wearing a costume, though the application would likely be somewhat stressful.

That dog is Nixe, who is training for search & rescue. He was painted with water soluble nontoxic face paint which used diatomaceous (sp?) earth as it's base. Nixe stood patiently, & then enjoyed playing in the hose water to wash it off. I think he's about 9 months old. His owner did a reverse Google search after she posted his picture & found his image as skeleton dog had reached 35 countries within 24 hours. Pretty amazing!
