E Litter vom Eisenherz Update - Page 1

I get a question here and there about how the pups are doing so I thought I'd share a few pics I've received recently. Here are just 2 of the boys.

Ehren is just STUNNING! Wow!

Eliot. Eliot got his S.T.A.R. Puppy award very young and has been training on and off w/Randy Rhodes and is doing great from what I hear. He's well-loved to put it mildly. I know he was a favorite of Kalibeck and Ibrahim. He was about 5-6 months in this pic. I really need to update..

I see what Blackthorn was saying about the colors. It looks like these all inherited the mom's black aa gene, and are darker than their father's black/reds for that reason.

What about the sables?

Nice combination of WL x SL. Both brains and beauty; a loftly goal for a breeding program.

Here's Eris, the one who had her face fractured at 4 weeks (Mom found a bone under the snow and all the pups were trying to take it, Eris got smart, started to go around to the opposite side just as Aria yanked it away from the others and got bashed squarely on her left side between eye and muzzle). I don't remember if I updated about her at all, but I gave her away in case she would need expensive surgery. It was a wait and see deal because she was too little to make any permanent fixes. She ended up not needing jaw surgery but had to have 2 teeth pulled. She's a great girl and her family is awesome for taking a chance on her. 

And, here is Ely...still has his head wrinkles, lol.  Makes me wonder how big that head is going to get! The boys are all about the same size, with Ely and Eliot within less than a pound of each other at 79. Ewan is smaller, as I thought he would be...gotta find a pic of him. He's  a blue version of his mother, more compact and petite, not as heavy. 

Ely seems to have gotten his grandmother's type build even more than his mother's. I don't see much of his father in him, like I do in Eliot. Eliot has a lot of him and Eirik has a good bit, as does Eris. Ely and Ehren are very much "my" lines in type.
