Forgive me for reaching out to the community-my heartdog was found to have a mass in her upper abdomen Sunday morning-confirmed by x-ray yesterday, awaiting evaluation via ultrasound this A.M. Trying to stay objective and failing miserably.
This is my heartdog-she's extremely intelligent, very vocal and opionated and oh so feisty-always something to say about everything-considers herself to be "the dog" of the pack-super people friendly-deadly to small prey. I left her at the clinic to fast last night; the house is just too quiet this morning-the others do not have her personality; the thought of perhaps having her weeks or days versus years is overwhelming.

dang hate to hear this kind of news; think positive and be strong for her. She sounds like a fighter so she will fight the fight. Please keep us posted and so sorry, know exactly how this feels all too well. Nan

Really sorry to hear this, it tears you up. My thoughts are with you, and I truly hope for you that you have her for longer than you think you might just now. She's a lovely girl, sending positive thoughts.
