I click on a message and it flips me to an ad, which I cannot get out of. I have to leave the forum and then come back. Sometimes it happens again and I have to leave and come back again.  Anyone else have that problem?

Are you using firefox by chance? I noticed that problem with a bot that made you click on the ad or survey, you had to take it to get the site to unlock. I hated the thing so stopped using Firefox until I found out about No-Script. I can allow or deny any script. I have only had one problem with a browser I didn't remember allowing to download.

Yes, especially if they have a video or slideshow in them. tend to freeze and lock. Btw use IE, chrome or firefox and same problem on all on them.

Maybe you could look into installing an adblock software.  Many are free and very easy to install; I have adblock software on all my computers and it is so nice not to have to deal with all the annoying ads.  Sometimes I turn it off, especially on my computer that uses Internet Explorer, because embedded YouTube videos never show up, but I always end up turning it back on because I get sick of accidentally clicking on the ads and being redirected to their websites.  I always leave it on the computer that uses Safari, that adblock software seems slightly superior to the one that I run on my Microsoft computers.

I am getting locked in ads on all three of my browsers- just took me 8 minutes to get to the forum :( Where does one get ad block software?

This is my favorite adblock software: https://getadblock.com  It works amazing!  The author, Michael Gundlach, just requests that people donate what they can to support his work.

I can see breeders' ads, but I cannot see third party ads.  When you start seeing third party ads again on webpages, that usually means that the companies have figured out how to work around the Adblock software; Michael Gundlach will then have an update available to download so the ads are blocked once more.  I am glad it's working for you!
