I think he is 28" inch tall at the shoulder. I never met this one in person, is just the lady who I spoke, I had the picture from her,

Here is another German Shepherd, she said he is only 1 years old at 112 pounds.

I believe she sold that pup.

I'll bet 100% that steve1 will say that dog at the beach is overweight as well,

I say the dog on the beach is overweight. Not enough tuck for me.

the dog on the beach looks overweight and out of shape to me - maybe by 5-6 lbs.

Ick, what a horrible swayback on the brothers, and one's in dire need a nail trim. You couldn't throw those dogs over a scaling wall. Terrible fronts. I assume they were bred like this deliberately? What a shame. None of these dogs are good quality, find another breeder if you're serious about a GSD.

I'd guess the swaybacks are due to the excess weight.

KCzaja, if you read the original post, these dogs are long dead, and the poster has no idea what their lines are, and was even questioning if they could be true GSD's due to their size.

For example this dog. He is a large male. At least he is very proportioned, worked, proven and very noce structure for a Working dog. He sure can produce as well.

Sunsilver, he did not say the dogs were deceased.  His own dog is way oversized that he's loading the database with pictures of.  This is the "type" of GSD the OP seems to like.  Way out of standard.
