Prelims for my puppy, 1 day shy of 7 months.  I'm not sending this in but feel free to weigh in.

Sedated? They look normal to me. I'd like to see more definition of the necks, but I think that is due to the age of the pup.  Nice xrays.

Yes he was sedated, also had a leftover broken puppy tooth pulled that needed some help coming out.

Hips look good, I am not experienced enough with elbows but I "think" these look OK.  BOL  Nan

Lookin VERY  GOOD   on the hips

I do not know how to determine Elbows but using common sense , the fit into the socket looks clean on them too

Very good X rays

Beautiful X-rays! Nice and clear. Best I've seen in awhile.

He looks very good to me.

Thanks everyone!  I'm really pumped that everyone agrees they are fine/good because in the past when I post x-rays here, the average concensus is usually worse than the rating my dog gets, haha! I'm not sending these in officially, I just like to have a peek at age 6-7 months because I train in many sports and need to know where we're at with the quality of the joints and where the puppy is in his growth so the training is appropriate.  Unfortunately this puppy will no longer be shown and is not a breeding prospect as he is most likely missing an adult tooth (which I suspect may be due to a playtime injury/bite to his face when he was really young), but that's OK.  I wasn't really considering him for a breeding prospect but would have liked to have fun showing him a few more times (SV and UKC...he was VP in the 3-6 month class already).

Gosh that would be terrible if he is of good temperament and hips that turn out Excellent and elbows good..not to breed him...if he is good in other traits.

So seldom we get that kind of exray...just keep those hips safe which I know you know how..

Why do  you not want to breed him if he is good enough by 2 1/2 old.?

I had a female that another took a tiny bite out of her ear at the tip...I luckily had pics of her before it happened..AND a tooth is always easy...get a dog dentist to cemented it in..Humans do it.

I know you know how to find a compatible female.  Good luck
