considef weith my bicthes heat season - Page 1

Hi

 

I have a 3 years old gds bitch.

 

Over a week ago my bitch was showing signs of being in heat.  she is showing the following signs:

enlarged vulvar

increased urination

hair loss

so i took her to the vets and they said she is in proestrus.  I have gone 3  more premate tests all the same result for 9 days.  but whats confusing me is that when i insert a cotton bud into her vulvar i see no blood

please any insight...

It's normal for them to stop bleeding when they are fertile. Or she is not in heat yet.
