von Prufenpuden .. Any experiences ?? - Page 1

David Harris .. Animal Resort .. Frankfort KY .. sells and trains GSD (and other breeds apparently) .. von Prufenpuden is the kennel name used for his dogs .. any experiences with either the kennel or the owner ..

Link to a video .. you can decide what you think but I found the dog's behavior concerning  .. not a happy dog and looking pressured and stressed which is why I asked the question about experiences from humans who can talk.  Blitz von Firelight is the dog, I was also interested in some experience with von Firelight and happened across this video in my search  Title of video is home companion

The trainer is David W Harris or David Harris from Frankfort, KY .. he has a place called Animal Resorts and another web site with link below.  I figure he is the real deal or that he has left some wagon ruts somewhere before

WOW... I'm speechless. 

I just looked at the prices he is asking for dogs that are not proven in any way and I am floored.  I have a gorgeous male here that is a proven patrol dog, proven producer, good hips/elbows, DM-Clear that was just too much dog for his handler, so we got him and I haven't been able to find a buyer for him at $2000.  It is beyond frustrating to see things like this.  Maybe I just need to up his price to $60k and I would find a buyer. 

And then to see that poor dog doing "obedience" that looks miserable being described as "a happy dog" and knowing that he is going to, or already has, sold that dog for upwards of  $10k.

Ok... maybe I wasn't totally speechless. 

There is a HUGE puppy mill (GSDs, Shiba Inu, and Huskies) in Frankfort KY, if I was considering a puppy from anywhere near there, I'd have to go to the place and make dang sure its not coming from that puppy mill........I've seen photos, its horrible.

I think he got $3500 for Blitz von Firelight .. I'm not worried about the prices as much as how the dog looked very unhappy.
