This is my main man, hes been my right hand guy for almost seven years now and has taken me to a whole new level with what I expect from my WORKING line dogs, this dog is the picture of solid nerves, level headedness and optimal decision making, he is harmless to friends but a massive (hes big haha) threat to danger. Maverick is one hell of a guy and I cant imagine life without the king of the castle. Below him are two of his pups a daughter and a son bred to a working line female.

He looks great.  Funny I have the exact same experience!  My 5 year old WGSL is hands down the dog I'd clone even though I've owned and trained more working lines.

There's so much about Maverick's character and temperament that are things I would love to see in the my working lines, He just has this calm about him and a presence like you wouldnt believe, I'll tell you without him saying a thing people and animals just stay out of his way even though he can be the most gentle to a tiny kitten and is fantatsic with animals/people of all manner (some males he does not like but they are usually the pushy kind that wont leave him to his space and he is fair in his punishment and does not carry on if they relent.). I've never seen him even walk away from a child he loves them so much no matter what I've caught my neices doing to him..... lol. Unfortunately I can not get over his shape. He is built well, just not right if that makes sense. He is fast, unbelievably for his size, and incredibly accurate but the added agility my smaller dogs offer can't be beat, piper for example is such a little whip over the agility course, incredible to watch. I have bred maverick to some more square working females and he produces beautiful puppies that are not only agile but smaller and square, usually with his great head too! Maverick has fantastic steady drives that he can turn on and off at will and with intensity. He loves to bite, but due to my early training and still learning so much he does not like to let go and can be a dirty biter lol. I have no doubt that maverick would defend me in a tough situation, but I also trust him with a 2 year old in his face, someone once said to me that because maverick is a show line, if I train him for bite work he will be a loose canon, I laughed (:

This is maverick's son at 9 months. He has excellent drives and is steady as a rock, nothing phases this boy.

He sounds a lot like my WGSL.  It's hard to describe, it's in the way he carries himself.  He's just so cool and confident, but not in an outwardly bossy or pushy way.  At work someone once told me my dog makes them feel like dirt, haha.  He comes into work, sits under my desk and will completely ignore people if he doesn't want to interact.  He's able to look right past them like the don't exist.  He's a dog for people that don't like dogs, lol.  He just minds his own business.  However if you are part of his "family", he can be a lovey, playful goof.  He's just so calm and neutral.  I love doing Schutzhund and other protection sports with him because the secondary obedience is so easy for him, he's not a dog I have to fight to maintain control.  The drive is there and he is actually quite protective of me, himself, my other dogs, and our property but the threshold is there too so he's not an overly sharp dog.  He's a very settled, clear-headed, discerning dog.  I can't think of better words or phrases to describe it. My dog looks big but he is 70lbs (V rated, U-CH, and KKL1), very agile, very balanced with a nice open shoulder.  Both my agility instructor and herding instructor have commented on how well he collects and turns. He also does flyball now, try to get to one tournament a month.

Gorgeous boy! Love the red! Yep sounds like my mav. He has this ridiculous goofy side that he only really shows off to me and my man. Other than that when people see him they think hes all business (until they have a stick or ball in hand).

here is a short clip of him, we were using him to make some educational videos for our clubs fresh decoys on things like catching and how to drive. He is heavy and he knows it. lol

Nice looking dog, however beside him being heavy I somehow get impression that he is oversized by few centimeters... am I correct?

He is a bit tall at 27"
