I've used it on and off for a number of years.  I use it to keep fleas and ticks off.  Just spread it around your kennel, dogs lay in it, sometimes eat some, all natural.  You can get a 40 pound bag of it for about $15-20.  Wilco, had prepackaged, really nice looking bottles for sale, for a whole lot more.  But there is really no difference, it's just marketing.  Since it is powdery dirt, it is messy when you spread it.

i would just caution those using DE for the first time......do not get it in your own eyes or nose & be very careful around the dogs.  the dust is very
very abrasive & will harm mucus membranes.  pjp

Thank you Ziegenfarm, for that reason I don't think I can use it...

I have used it for years on dogs, in food and make sure you buy real DE with FOOD GRADE printed in letters on bag..do not use  blends of DE from target, WALMART or Lowes..you have to get DE from a farms store , Ranch store not K mart or any distributor of bagged with other ingredients added.....It is a blend not real DE>.]

CAUTION on using it on baby pups...only a pinch in food...I never use it for pups , older pups like 5 months old plus..\It is wonderful for keeping ants out of the nursery or barn or any insect period that can crawl..Farmers use it in Feed bins to keep bugs out..

Snakes in flowerbeds  will rip stomach open on it but you must put a line of it and their stomachs  have no lining so it tears it and so it does to fleas etc..IT is ok for human consumption also and is used by cancer patients or those needing high dosage of vitamins and minerals to boost their body back to health...Read the contents  , and use for keeping ants off your house porch or patio..THe great thing is it is FOOD grade and if pups or dogs get it in their paws etc it is not harmful...I never used masks or any such as You simple use a container to spread it that is j ust pour out not one that would fan the breeze or cause a dust..

I like it better than seven dust...as seven is a chemical.

It's the only wormer i use on my on my shepherds, raise all my litters on it. i have never had a worm problem. All my puppies have been worm free at first vet check. I would never use anything else. I give a tablespoon in food every day
