Every dog with IPO routine is able to act like this - it´s learned behavior - but in this context it´s fun to see.

any trained dog should be able to work 2 sleeves, if asked ...

I thought the same.
I like the training and think it is a good exercise to teach. Good for your family. Would the dog do it in real life? Maybe It is better then most of the dogs I have seen lately. But my hat is off to the dog that a little child can handle and to the person that trained him.

If that is the case....then please post some videos of the same work. I'd like to see an adult (with no handling experience), handling one of these IPO routine dogs in the same exercise as well as that little girl.
Just because a dog has a learned behavior, does not mean that anyone....let alone a child can handle the dog in that type of situation.
Paul nailed it on the head when he said " But my hat is off to the dog that a little child can handle and to the person that trained him."

Whoever trained that dog did a great job!

into 'protecting the handler'. Oh come on, lads, the dog is reacting to
those things it has been taught to react to: a decoy (or in this case 2)
with padded arms, making 'threatening' body language in the direction
of dog&handler.
Yes the kid is good. For one so young she clearly understands something
of what she is doing; and for one so small she has an exemplary ability
to stand her ground and hang on to a large muscular dog.
The rest is anthropomorphism.
