Someone on here said it was impossible for a cat and a dog to walk together. So here you go.

It was a beautiful day out today, so I took my girls for a walk. Qira and Cheyanne.

Back when my husband was still alive, I bottle raised a litter of feral kittens. Our GSD, Tasha, was very fond of them, and used to give them baths. They in turn, would crawl inside her big ears, and give them a cleaning!

When we went for a walk with her, one or the other of the kittens would sometimes follow us all the way around the block!

Jen, I think probably Qira was... Chey is 9 years old now, so while I used to take her for pretty long walks, she is happy enough now just to hang out in the sunshine and watch the birds. When we first come out, that is what she wants to do, so while I was encouraging her to come along, poor Qira just kept giving me this look like "Really? You HAD to bring the cat?" LOL. But she is a good sport.

Sunsilver, that is adorable! That probably plays a big part in my Chey's fondness of dogs too. As a kitten (very sick and thin), she was rescued by a friends rottie, Sunny. Our friend discovered the dog trying to get her to nurse, in her dog bed one day. She took her to the vet, and I brought her home a couple of days later, where my moms Golden pretty much took over right where Sunny left off. Jewel and Chey have been the best of friends since the beginning, and still play together and snuggle and give baths when they get to see each other. Gotta love 'em. :)

Ibrahim... my first dog, Dallas, who died shortly before I got my cat, was also black. Love my black beauties! I keep telling my self that I want my next animal to be a dark sable GSD, but I have a feeling I'll wind up with another black one, LOL. Not that that is a bad thing! Heart

Black is beautiful and Elegant, I have a bi-color and wish one day I'll be able to have a black one, and a good strong temperament too as described on other threads.
I love the picture, you're good at taking them.

One of my cats is best friends with my big stud male, they look SO funny laying together!   The cat rubs up against all over him. Then curls up and goes to sleep against his tummy. He doesn't care!
