Siri is 16 months old, her gait is absolutely beautiful....
What's your opinion of her hips and elbows?

I'm having a hard time seeing the elbows well enough to say for sure, but they look a little "fuzzier" than I like (and OFA likes). They're also way, way flexed, so that also adds to that effect. They don't look terrible, mind you...I've just seen lots of "grade 1" lately without very clear problems, so I always get nervous about ANY fuzziness on an elbow. Hips look ok...do you have pics of this bitch? Her conformation looks different.

kneecaps/patellas seem really high.  what's with that?

Prager

That is because the legs are up instead pushed down against the table. That is a new one on me in funky positioning. If the vet can not position the dog properly what else s/he can not do well?

Yeah, very weird. I kept looking at it thinking the legs were odd, then I looked at the patellas and realized the angle was what was weird. Very odd positioning indeed.

Jeni78 - here's a photo of her playing around in the yard.
I'm hoping to get some good photos of her soon.
In a recent show the koermiester's comments were (always taken with a grain of salt):
Really nice female with a lot of temperament, she is absolutely correct in the size, medium strong, with very good pigmentation. She has a strong head with really good proportions, the eyes should be a little bit more dark, she has a really good topline, She is correct in angulation and absolutely correct coming and going, she has a lot of temperament, she is always present she is always searching for you and so that the top line is always really good during the whole presentation.
