wow..Lucky you...Im myself very new to S/L but very interested.... You have a dog that comes from a very strong pedigree and is directly the son of a VA3 which is a huge brag is the show world... The owner could have easily sold it at a very good price but he chose a more secure future for the dog over money(i think) which is priceless...Enjoy the dog and take good care....best wishes.

WRT to genetic issues in Drago's lines, they're basically the same as any other lines within the breed; I don't know of any increased incidence in any of the common health concerns associated with the breeding behind him. These lines are known for having a strong and serious work ethic. They can produce some dog aggression, but to the best of my knowledge it isn't an overwhelming issue with them.
von der WilmothHaus in Ohio has a full litter sister to your Drago, Domina; she's a SchH2, V-rated breeding female for the Wilmoths, who require the same level of work ethic and ability from their show line dogs as they dog from their working lines.

They're generally very good about getting back to people, and are very nice folks who are extremely knowledgeable about the breed and who both have a background in law enforcement as dog handlers.
